The Quaking Aspen is a Poplar tree that's native and the most widely distributed tree of North America. Their shape is pyramidal and narrow when young, but develops a characteristic rounded top at maturity. This tree will grow in a wide range of soils. Dark-green foliage turns golden-yellow in fall and looks excellent in the landscape when planted in groups. Leaves "tremble", even in light winds, creating a very distinctive and pleasant sound. Available in single, twin and clump form. Mature growth is around 60-80' tall x 30' wide.
They grow rapidly and are great to fill-up the landscape quickly in your yard if you’re working with a bare area.
Full sun to partial shade works for the Quaking Aspen.
The quaking aspen grows well in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained and clay soils. It prefers abundant moisture.
Grows in an oval shape.
